E.t. is a masterpiece of extroardinary power - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

This is the best film ever made. Steven Spielberg knows how to make an audience laugh, cry, and applaud all at the same time. E.T. is an excellent, moving, and wonderfully climactic film that stayed with me for my entire life. I've never been so struck by motion picture entertainment before and I respect the beauty and masterful storytelling that Spielberg brings to life in a visualistic and simplistic way. The performances are also great. Especially by Henry Thomas, who befriends E.T. in a wonderful, innocent performance. Drew Barrymore is also incredible as Elliot's (Thomas) little sister who is frightened at first by E.T., but then grows to love him. The final moments of the film are so poweful and moving, that it's hard not to shed one little tear. All of this powerful storytelling is helped out by John William's classic musical score that brings the film to life. Overall, E.T. is a great movie. Powerful storytelling and lots of kind spirited humor make this film a must see.

Best movie of 1980's - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

This was a GREAT movie. I really enjoyed it in the 80s and today my children love it. We have had to watch it over and over again.

One of the best films ever - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

This film was one of the greatest films ive ever seen since i was much younger this film has been in my mind one of the best films ever and since the film was brought out again last year it has become even greater. An amazin film directed by stephen spielberg with a great story behind the film.

My favorite movie of all-time. - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

E.T. is one of those movies that will never die. Like The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music before it, this is a film that doesn't age. The more you see it, the happier you are that it exists. Steven Spielberg should be thanked for giving us such a rare, beautiful picture.

E.t...the extra testical!!! - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

Yeah..not bad.Steve really knows how to bring out the kid in everyone. The flying bike scene was good..um...its funny how when i ever i see E.T extending his neck it reminds me of a hard on...the game from the 80's on this movie was pretty crap too from what i recall..talk about basic dot ghraphics..thank god PC games have improved in leaps and bounds over the years...anyway thats all from me...OINK!!

All time worst - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

this has to be one of the dumbest movies ever made... watched it because of all the hype and i was BORED OUT OF MY MIND!... waste of money and time...

Watch it once and then decide... - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

Watch it once if you havent... But this is not because the movie is great or classic or something like that... But because you will find how people like spielberg (even if he is at his worst) The alien was absolutely fantastic. But the whole movie just celebrates this one thing. You make a alien and then you just make people watch him for hours without moving a inch. There is no story in the movie and whatever happens... happens in the end. You become bored watching the alien move and do tricks. It might have been enchanting to people when this alien idea was still new (to see a alien who is so human). But it isnt now. Whatever I have said... I think you wont believe me... So go on and watch is once.

California life - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

This movie took place in California, around the place where my aunt used to live. There are nice nighttime scenes, that the ET comes over, and the boy does exactly what ET does. The boy tried to have him talk human language. Near the end of the movie, the boy sends out the radio signal to outer space, planning to send ET back home. Then he road the bicycle, that took off into the air, across the full moon. In the morning, the house the boy lived in was bubbled up by the medical staff, when ET got sick. Then ET was put in deep freeze so that the scientists would study him. But that did not work, the UFO came and ET was brought home to outer space.

A puppet alien? - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

I'm sorry! But, it was just tooooooo unrealistic. What's up with the elastic spine, huh? I did, however, like Drew Barrymore's role. They did a good job making the future cocaine addict cry.

Et phone home - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

et cute is a cute movie for the family but not adults. it made money good for it. but i like the movie because of the story not because et was an alien.

Spielberg's heartwarming movie. - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

Of all the movies Spielberg has made, I like this one the least. If I had to chose which is his best, I'd perhaps pick, "Raiders Of The Lost Ark", even though some might pick "Schindler's List" because it's his serious movie. But in any case, E.T.'s good, but in my opinion, good for kids only.

Head in the clouds - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

Now, I'm only nine, but I saw E.T. when I was 6,7 or 8. "Phew!" How could I have understood it? But just some months ago, I again had seen the movie... and now 1 of my favourites!

A classic - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

This movie was so good. The acting and story was just excellent! Henry Thomas did really good as Elliott. E.T. looked very realistic. Those of you who haven't seen it, what are you waiting for, GO SEE IT!!!!

Im surprised i gave it a c - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

this is one of the worst movies i have ever had the misfortune of watching. this movie is so overated i see nothing special about it

It doesn't make sense - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

I don't get this movie! I mean, aliens? Seriously. Who cares if an alien dies? You can't love an alien. It just doesn't make sense. I was happy to see ET in that ditch!

Extra ordinary - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Reviews

it's really fantastic vision from the creative genius Speilberg because he showed to us what's the determination and friendship even between an alien and a human! and what a great dramatic farewell in the end the threads of the story was tightly strong and there're no words could describe the great directing by Steven it?e of the best movies ever
